Disappearing act,

"Flying a high sweep over France we spotted them, a bunch of dots 2'oclock low.
The radio came to life as each pilot spotted the bandits, they were jerry alright them black crossed gave it away, about 7 what appeared to be 190's.
We dived on them quickly so they had less time to respond, within seconds we were on them, i fired but my target spotted me and pulled up, i witnessed a clean kill by Sqn leader though, cannon shells seemed to simply rip the 190 in half, in a hail of fire.
ok ok, tracking my target the best i can i pull up quickly gaining on him, a little more, come on, come onnn.....
Bang!
Out of no were an 8th 190 comes across at me, striking my starboard wing several times, the 190 simply flys past with too much speed, i am shocked and by the time i look back up the first 190 has now gone,

After a second looking i decide to follow this tricky git, 'get my revenge' bloody jerry.

So i invert and level out, now on the bandits 6, he dives away to 3, i follow him but keep my distance, i give him a quick burst as he whizzes by the sight but no hits, we are still diving the ground getting closer now filling my view as our max speed starts coming up the 190 pulls up, i once again follow, being very surprised the wings never fell off with the G's we are now vertical still going up, trouble is we are side by side i look to the left and see the pilot wave to me, being a gentlemen i wave back, he then seems to throw his plane back and left, i try to follow but am left behind, as i stall out kicking the rudder full left i sweep the sky but cant see him, he appears to have done the famous the Luftwaffe disappearing trick, i get the order to reform....

......as my groundcrew and i look at my plane it is clear that only MG strikes had got me, however if that 190 had fired its cannons my whole wing could have simply been blown off."
